Always a Riesen
This fantastic wintry cocktail comes from the mind of Phil Lockett, who tends the bar at Frazers. He claims that he was trying to recreate the taste of the Riesen candy… I’d say he succeeded deliciously! He first showcased it at the Art of Food event at The Luminary benefitting Slow Food STL. It was a huge hit!
1 oz. Big Jake Breakfast Brew
1 oz. Liquore Strega
1 oz. Amaro Sibona Liqueur
dash Fee Brothers Black Walnut Bitters
pinch of salt
Add all ingredients to glass. Stir with lemon rind (or spoon). Serve up. Garnish with lemon rind. Enjoy!
