Hot Buttered Rum
2 oz Soulard Island Rum
1 GENEROUS slice of soft butter
1 tsp brown sugar (Add more to taste if you like things sweeter)
Optional spices to taste: ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, allspice (Adam is A BIG FAN of allspice in cold weather drinks)
Hot water (you only want about half a cup of water this will give you better flavor.)
Heat the butter and then place the mixture of butter, sugar and spices at the bottom of an Irish coffee glass or mug. Mix well or muddle. Pour in the rum and hot water. Stir until the mixture dissolves completely. Enjoy!
