Necromancer

I created this devilishly delicious punch for Halloween years back and I like to serve it to the parents accompanying their trick-or-treaters.  (you can add dry ice to add that ghoulish Halloween effect!)  I’ve included the recipe for individual cocktails as well.

Ingredients:

1 bottle (750ml) RallyPoint Rye Whiskey
6.66 oz. Brown-Sugar-Cinnamon syrup
1 gallon Apple Cider
Chocolate Bitters
Dry Ice

Directions:

Add first three ingredients to cauldron.  Stir.  Add dry ice.  Stir slowly and laugh fiendishly.  After you ladel into glasses, add bitters.  Garnish with your favorite Halloween candy.  Enjoy!

*Brown Sugar-Cinnamon Syrup (make ahead)
2/3 cup of water
1 cup of brown sugar
4 cinnamon sticks

Make ahead of time.  Combine all ingredients in pot and heat until sugar is dissolved.  Transfer to closable-bottle and store in fridge until needed.

Individual Cocktail Recipe:

Ingredients:

2 oz. RallyPoint Rye Whiskey
1/2 oz. Brown-Sugar-Cinnamon syrup
3 oz. Apple Cider
Dash Chocolate Bitters

Directions:

Add first three ingredients to shaker.  Shake with ice.  Pour into rocks glass.  Add bitters.  Garnish with your favorite Halloween candy.  Enjoy!
