We were proud to release our first-ever batch (Batch I) of Missouri Straight Bourbon Whiskey finished in a Habondia Peach Brandy barrel!
This incredible single barrel represents long-term vision incarnate. It was laid down in early 2018 and it boasts a mash bill of 70% Corn, 20% Rye, and 10% Malted Barley. After over five years of aging, it was finally ready for the finishing touch: beautiful Habondia Peach Brandy, made by our friends who make the Big O Ginger Liqueur here in Missouri!
We finished the bourbon for over 26 months in the peach brandy barrel, while the angels greedily took their share but left us ~180 bottles at a deceptively smooth 123.2 proof. This whiskey provides incredible complexity and distinctly unique peach brandy notes on the nose and palate.
This uncut, unfiltered whiskey is bottled at barrel strength (123.2 Proof). This is truly one of the most delicious collector's items you'll ever find.
Proxy pick-up is allowed! Must designate proxy in writing in advance.
Tasting Notes: The peach exudes on the nose over rich creamed corn. The bourbon leads on the palate, but is followed by sweet fruit syrup and the smoothness is stunning given the high proof. This Cask Strength single barrel clocks in at a surprisingly smooth 123.2 proof of decadent bourbon richness. Un-cut, un-filtered, barrel-strength whiskey straight out of this old peach brandy barrel!
How does local pick up work?
Once order has been placed...we will fulfill that order and it can be picked up any Friday 5-9pm and most weekdays between 10am - 2pm.
Why do we only ship to some states?
Currently we ship to all states that allow for spirit delivery by shipping. If you do not see your state, please call your local government we would love to ship to all states!
Small-batch Bourbon
We taste between 8 and 10 barrels to select 2-3 to blend together and create a fantastic small-batch bourbon. The bourbon is our flagship mash bill: 70% Corn, 20% rye, 10% barley, always aged for over 5 years in a new charred oak barrels and bottled at 90 proof. Enjoy the best Missouri has to offer!
