The Indomitable Spirit of America.
1944 – D-Day

Releases Friday, June 5th 5-9pm in Distillery! PreSales available now for Missouri shipping or Pick-UP ONLY. If you choose missouri shipping it will ship out on June 5th.

On June 5th, we release single barrel #6 in our America's 250th Birthday Bourbon series.  June's barrel honors "1944 - D-Day."  ‘Operation Overlord,’ the codename for the Battle of Normandy, began on D-Day, June 6th, 1944. The Indomitable Spirits of the American and Allied forces liberated Western Europe and turned the tide of WWII.  Though it specifically remembers Operation Overlord and World War II, we honor ALL of the heroic American troops who have served or are serving in our United States Armed Forces.  Without their selfless service and sacrifice, this nation would not be what it is today.  We made this bourbon from corn, barley, rye, and wheat, aged over 5 years, and bottled in bond to honor them for America’s 250th Birthday.

1944 – D-Day

D-Day, the Allied invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944, was one of the most pivotal moments of World War II. After years of German occupation across Europe, the United States, Britain, and their Allies launched Operation Overlord—the largest amphibious invasion in history—to open a Western front against Nazi Germany. In the early morning hours, airborne troops landed behind enemy lines, followed by more than 150,000 soldiers storming five heavily fortified beaches: Utah, Omaha, Gold, Juno, and Sword. Despite fierce resistance and heavy casualties, especially at Omaha Beach, the Allies secured a foothold in France by the end of the day. D-Day marked the beginning of the end for Nazi rule in Western Europe, setting in motion the liberation of France and ultimately the Allied victory in Europe.
