Our second batch of FIVE-year-old, single barrel, cask strength Rum
133.2 proof rum made from 100% Grade A Fancy Molasses, our 5 Year Expedition Rum is rich, decadent, and fantastic.
We aged this rum for over five years in a previously used-Expedition Rum barrel to introduce a lighter oak profile while embracing the esters and tropical fruit notes of this rich, funky pot still rum. Only 222 of these utterly delicious, hand-engraved bottles exist and they won’t last long!

Tasting Notes: This Cask Strength single barrel clocks in at a surprisingly smooth 133.2 proof of delicious rum. The nose is rich molasses with a robust ester profile. This is not a spiced rum, but the tropical notes on the nose make you wonder. Banana, papaya, and tobacco spice whose promise is fulfilled on the palate with a quick funk burst wrapped in warmed oak. This is a big, bold, beautiful rum that forces you to realize that not all incredible, complex rums come from the Caribbean! Un-cut, un-filtered, barrel-strength pot still rum straight out of the barrel!
